Resep: Dagagjeong (Korean Spicy Chicken) Untuk Pemula!

Dagagjeong (Korean Spicy Chicken). This recipe is inspired by my favorite Korean takeout joint. The spicy Korean chicken sauce is made with gochujang, or Korean chili paste, which is the building block of many Korean recipes. It's mildly spicy but makes the chicken so much more flavorful and appetizing.

Bahan-bahan Dagagjeong (Korean Spicy Chicken)

  1. Dibutuhkan 500 gr of ayam fillet.
  2. Siapkan 1 ruas of jahe d parut ambil airnya.
  3. Diperlukan 1/2 sdt of garem.
  4. Sediakan 1 of bawang putih d haluskan (saya bubuk bawang putih).
  5. Dibutuhkan of Bahan baluran ayam :.
  6. Diperlukan 1 butir of telur kocok lepas.
  7. Diperlukan 75 gr of terigu.
  8. Dibutuhkan 75 gr of maizena.
  9. Sediakan 1/4 sdt of garam.
  10. Dibutuhkan 1/4 sdt of bubuk lada.
  11. Dibutuhkan 1/4 sdt of baking soda (saya skip hasil tetep keriting).
  12. Gunakan of Bahan saus :.
  13. Dibutuhkan 1 of Bombay potong kotak kecil.
  14. Siapkan 3 siung of bawang putih geprek.
  15. Gunakan 1 ruas of jahe d geprek.
  16. Dibutuhkan 1 sdm of madu.
  17. Sediakan 1 sdm of bubuk cabe.
  18. Dibutuhkan 1 sdm of saus sambal.
  19. Sediakan 1 sdm of saus tiram.
  20. Gunakan 1 sdm of saus tomat.
  21. Siapkan of Topping :.
  22. Gunakan of Wijen (skip) daun bawang.

I've always been attracted to other cultures and back in high school, I used to hang out with Mona who, if my memory is correct, was from Cambodia. If you are fond of spicy Korean beef soup (yukgaejang), you will love its chicken version but simplified. The traditional way of making yukgaejang takes time and some effort. I like things simple even in the recipe.

Cara membuat Dagagjeong (Korean Spicy Chicken)

  1. Marinasi ayam. Ayam sdh d cuci dan sudah d potong. Masukkan bumbunya kurleb 15 menit.
  2. Sambil tunggu marinasi bikin saus. Siapkan bahan lalu siapkan wajan atau teflon bebas deh. Tumis semua bahan saus jd satu, test rasa klo kepedasan tambahin saus tomat (SPT saya) klo kurang pedes bisa tambahin bubuk cabenya atau saus sambelnya ya.
  3. Setelah saus jadi tepungin ayam. Masukkin k Telur lalu k Tepung kemudian goreng sampai warna kecoklatan..
  4. Ambil wadah d sajikan dalam keadaan panas. Toppingnya harusnya wijen Krn bikin pagi2 buta ngga ready pake daun bawang aja deh.. tetep enak ternyata.

So here is my version of spicy Korean chicken soup (dakgaejang) that is easier to make. Dakgangjeong (닭강정) is basically fried chicken, Korean style! It's made from bite sized chicken breast pieces that are then deep fried and coated in the most marvellous sweet & spicy sauce.
