In most parts of the Middle East, falafel is made with ground chickpeas. However, in Egypt, we make it with dried fava beans. They are best served with pita bread, tomato, onions, and tahini sauce. You can have Falafel using 13 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

  6. It’s 1 Tbsp of Mint Leaves.
  7. You need 1 Tbsp of Lime juice.
  8. It’s 1 tsp of Olive oil.
  9. Prepare 1/2 Tsp of Blackpepper.
  10. Prepare 1/2 Tsp of Garam masala powder.
  11. It’s of Oil to fry.

  13. You need Leaves of Cucumber, Tomato, Pickled vegeies, Pickled Cheese& Olives, Curd Raita, Ketchup, Tomato Chutney, Salad.

Falafel (pronounced “fell-off-uhl”), sometimes spelled “felafel” or “felafil,” is a deep-fried ball or patty that is made from either chickpeas or fava beans and spices.   4. Traditionally falafel are made with soaked chickpeas. But i prefer boiled chickpeas. Canned chickpeas can also be used. Falafel can be deep fried or baked as well. The mixture can be store in fridge for couple of days.if it turns moist add a liitle baisan to adjust texture. Fried and baked falafels can be freeze also in freezer bags. Reheat in frypan when need with little oil to keep moist texture on low to medium heat. Enjoy.
