What Is Bigger A Crew Cab Or Double Cab. Double and extended cabs fall into the same class of cab size, just below the crew (but still bigger than the regular cab). Although both the double cab and the crew cab are spacious inside and both can accommodate up to six passengers on board comfortably, the crew cab tends to be more spacious.
The double cab is available for all the Chevy Silverado trucks. It has a slightly bigger front shoulder room. The crew cab rear seats are NOT the same size as the double cab seats.
However, a Silverado that comes with the Crew Cab is slightly more spacious.
Both the Crew Cab and the Double Cab are spacious enough that they can accommodate up to six passengers comfortably.
A crew cab has two full doors that have room of usually five passengers. Ram (previously Dodge) calls this design "Mega Cab," as seen above. Came from an access cab Tacoma reg bed.
